THE AMERICAN FLYERS

This seasoned Atlanta, Georgia based wedding and corporate dance band has a vast song list that spans every era, playing with world-class musicianship. Founded four years ago, TAF has been one of the Southeast’s highest grossing acts in the corporate market.

The band is:

Ian Bruh - Lead Vocals

Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Ian has worked in the Atlanta music scene for more than ten years. Always the dynamic performer, Ian never fails to excite an audience…he is a complete natural! Ian won the competition on Showtime At The Apollo! He has a BFA in performance and is a graduate of the La Guardia School of the Arts.

Kristin Markiton - Lead Vocals

A native of Washington State, Kristin has lived in the Atlanta area for nine years and is an active member in the Atlanta Theater group. Her experience with some of Atlanta’s best musicians provides the band with additional versatility. She is currently completing her debut CD.

David Wayne Midkiff - Keyboards, Lead Vocals, Acoustic Guitar

David has opened for and toured with over thirty national acts. As a studio musician and songwriter, Dave has scored for film and his songs have charted in the U.S. and England.

Phil Fontana - Bassist, Lead Vocals, Songwriter, Educator

Phil has been a part of the Atlanta music scene for over 30 years. As a member of several prominent Atlanta-based bands, he has performed all over the U.S. and abroad. A session musician of the highest caliber, Phil has played on hundreds of records during his lengthy and successful career.

Robert Taylor - Guitars Violin, Mandolin, Lead Vocals

Born in Oklahoma City, Robert has been working professionally in the music business since the age of fourteen. Having played all over the U.S., Europe and Central America, he has opened for and toured with many national acts. Classically trained at the University of Central Oklahoma, Robert demonstrates a mastery of stringed instruments.

Danny Garrett - Drummer, Percussionist, Educator

Danny has over 30 years of experience encompassing every style of music. He has shared the stage with numerous national acts, performing all over the U.S. He possesses a relentless groove that drives the band and the dance floor.

Paul Garrett - Horn Section Leader, Trumpet, Educator

Paul boasts a reputation of the highest integrity in the music profession. Having owned and operated his own band for eight years, The American Flyers are honored to have him as the leader of their horn section. Paul has a master’s degree in music performance from Wichita State University and has toured the world with the industry’s top musicians. Paul also teaches music in the Atlanta area.

Having been in the music business for over 30 years, I was truly amazed and proud to have The American Flyers play at my wedding. I don't know why these guys haven't been signed yet, but I would bet money that there is no other band available that is as professional and that has as high a musical standard as The America Flyers. They were so great that some of my guests were more interested in the band than in my wedding!! Get them while you still can. You will NOT be disappointed!!
