LIL ELMO
In 1985, Lil' Elmo & The Cosmos emerged from the local club scene as one of Los Angeles' top grossing attractions. Time after time, hundreds of enthusiastic fans would flock to prestigious venues to see this great new act. Over time, the band garnered the reputation as L.A.s' finest vintage rock n' roll show band.
Offers from corporate, casino, concert and festival buyers were coming in worldwide. According to industry insiders, the band had developed a reputation as a tight rhythm and great vocal combination that brought new life and honest integrity to the music of the Fifties, Sixties and Seventies. In a time when Oldies music was being rehashed and over-done by endless ShaNaNa clones, Lil' Elmo emerged at the top of the heap.
In recent years, Lil' Elmo the Cosmos has become a treasure in the Las Vegas casino market with yearly performing contracts at the largest major hotels in town. With a strong following of supportive fans, Lil' Elmo entertains and mesmerizes with their electrifying style and talent. Their energetic stage shows have consistently packed the show rooms, making them a must see for visitors.
As the Cosmos' reputation has continued to gain recognition. They have appeared at five Super Bowls and have been requested to open the show for many major name attrac-tions including Diana Ross, The Righteous Brothers, The Four Tops, The Temptations, Tony Bennett, The Pointer Sisters, Blood, Sweat and Tears, The Beach Boys, Chuck Berry, Little Anthony, Frankie Valli, Ray Charles, Andy Williams, Rich Little and many other well known artists.
The band consists of Steven Feller, Larry Spatz, Jack Turchin, Doug Hodges, Bobby Hudson and Michael Kleid. Music Connection Magazine is quoted saying, "The band which plays a majority of cover songs, still manages to make those covers their own, and they can really work a crowd into a frenzy, the dance floor was packed!" (April 1997)
Whatever Lil' Elmo & the Cosmos do in the future, the past and it's music is the cata-lyst that drew this band together and will most definitely keep them continually rockin'. What Lil' Elmo brings to vintage rock and roll music is the memories of magic moments with the technologies of the nineties.
If the desire of your special event is for everyone to have a great rock and roll evening, it is Lil' Elmo the Cosmos commitment to deliver!
